The Atmos Astra uses removable 18650 batteries that have over 2000mAh of battery power which gives you vaping sessions of over an hour an a half of continuous use. The charging only takes around 60 minutes and it use the Lithium AA batteries which are removable and replaceable for if you need to use extras, you always have a fresh one to use. The only draw back with the Atmos Astra is the fact it doesn't feature Seamless charging, this means you can't use the vaporizer while charging. Since it doesn't have a charging dock for the batteries, you must charge the batteries which would make the Astra not usable when it is charging. This is really the only draw back about the Atmos Astra they could of incorporate which would of inflated the price a lot higher though. The battery area uses 510 threading, this means that you can use any other atomizer with the Astra with these specific batteries and actually turn the Astra into a multi-use vaporizer if that's something you are wanting to do. Using the Atmos Astra is very simple, all you have to do is load the 18650 AA lithium ion batteries inside the bottom of the Astra and press on the power button 5 times You unlock the auto-lock safety feature by pressing the button 5 times quickly and select 1 out of 5 temperature settings that have heating levels of 356F, 374F, 392F, 410F & 428F to select a range that will be compatible to perfectly vape the entire herbal chamber without leaving any sort of hot spots. The indicator lights will also display in different colors when you're selecting the heating level. After you do that, unlock the battery by pressing down 5 times and then you hold down the power button to select the temperature and cycle through the temperature setting.
